Following her graduation, she interned at a legal firm focusing on criminal defense and family law in Cleburne, Texas.
Beyond her legal acumen, Ms. Mims is deeply involved with the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association. She holds the position of treasurer for the State Bar of Texas Collaborative Section Council and is a lifetime member of the Texas Family Law Foundation. Furthermore, she is a fellow of the College of the State Bar of Texas and has established herself as an adept author and speaker within the legal community.
