Constance Ann B. Mims

Constance Ann B. Mims, a board-certified family law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has over 15 years of exclusive practice in family law. Operating from Mims Ballew Hollingsworth, PLLC, with offices in Southlake and Fort Worth, she represents clients throughout Texas. 

Additionally, Ms. Mims holds a certification in collaborative law. She is recognized for her adept negotiation skills, particularly in complex cases involving child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, alimony, prenuptial agreements and divorce, both at trial and on appeal. She is proficient in achieving settlements and equally skilled in handling contentious and legally intricate cases.

Ms. Mims graduated from Texas Christian University in 2002 with a degree in political science and was honored as a Mary I. Gourley Scholar. In 2007, she earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. During her law school tenure, she was recognized on the dean’s list, served as a research assistant and actively participated in the Wesleyan Innocence Project. Following her graduation, she interned at a legal firm focusing on criminal defense and family law in Cleburne, Texas.

Beyond her legal acumen, Ms. Mims is deeply involved with the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association. She holds the position of treasurer for the State Bar of Texas Collaborative Section Council and is a lifetime member of the Texas Family Law Foundation. Furthermore, she is a fellow of the College of the State Bar of Texas and has established herself as an adept author and speaker within the legal community.
