A 1969 graduate of Texas Tech University, Mr. Nickelson obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1972, graduating as a member of The Order of the Barristers. While there, he was an active member of the moot court board and helped his team place second in the 1972 international competition. He was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Association.
