James K. Luster

Early in his legal career, Mr. Luster served as an assistant criminal district attorney with both Lubbock and Tarrant counties, where he prosecuted a variety of criminal cases, starting first with misdemeanors and then felonies. He also gained invaluable experience trying family violence cases as well as juvenile crime cases, and he credits his prosecutorial experience with bolstering his ability to devise the most effective defense strategies possible for the accused.

Moreover, Mr. Luster's desire to become an attorney rose largely from the inspiration he gained from attorneys who were members of the International Justice Mission. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston School of Law in 2008, where he was a member of the Mock Trial Competition, the Christian Legal Society, The Advocates and the Student Bar Association.
