Jamie L. Taylor

The founder of her eponymous law firm, Jamie L. Taylor focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, she provides dedicated representation to clients throughout Tarrant County and the neighboring areas. As an undergraduate, Ms. Taylor attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where she majored in business management and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. She then pursued her legal education at what was then known as Texas Wesleyan School of Law, and in 2007, she was awarded her Juris Doctor. Ms. Taylor has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 2007.

Many of Ms. Taylor’s clients are people who are contemplating ending their marriages or are already going through a divorce. She discusses with them the need to resolve such matters as property division, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support, and she is often able to help them reach an accord through a negotiated settlement. Ms. Taylor’s background and experience in mediation and collaborative law also is helpful when her clients want to avoid a bitter and protracted courtroom battle, but she is a forceful advocate on their behalf when litigation proves to be necessary.

In addition to her divorce caseload, Ms. Taylor has extensive experience in other family law matters as well. She regularly prepares and reviews prenuptial agreements, and she represents clients whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now petitioning the court to modify or enforce existing support or parenting orders.
