Jason C.N. Smith

The founder of the Law Offices of Jason Smith, Jason C.N. Smith focuses his practice primarily on employment law matters, and his experience also encompasses personal injury litigation and insurance coverage issues. From his office in Fort Worth, Texas, he provides representation to clients throughout Tarrant County. Admitted to practice in Texas since 1992, Mr. Smith is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

A significant portion of Mr. Smith's client base consists of current, prospective, and former employees who have been the victims of discrimination that is prohibited by various federal laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. His employment law practice also encompasses wrongful termination and other acts of illegal retaliation. Mr. Smith's personal injury and wrongful death practice involves his representation of people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties in cases arising out of motor vehicle crashes, workplace accidents, premises liability, and defective products. He also represents policy holders whose claims have been denied in bad faith by their insurance companies.

A recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in political science magna cum laude from St. Mary's University, he obtained his legal education at the Texas Tech University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1992.
