Laura Alexander

As a partner at Howard Lotspeich Alexander & Williams, PLLC, in Fort Worth, Texas, Laura Alexander focuses her practice on family-law litigation. She represents clients in contested divorces, child custody disputes, child support matters, modification proceedings and other complex family-law cases. From the outset of each case, she develops a strategy designed to protect her client’s rights, advance the client’s objectives and prepare the matter for a favorable resolution—whether through negotiation, mediation or trial. 

Ms. Alexander represents clients through every stage of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, contested hearings, settlement negotiations and courtroom proceedings. She understands that family-law disputes frequently involve high stakes and deeply personal concerns. Her approach combines thorough preparation and practical advice with focused, assertive advocacy in the courtroom. By focusing her practice on family law, Ms. Alexander brings concentrated knowledge and experience to the legal and practical issues her clients face.

Ms. Alexander earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 2016 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in political science at Texas Wesleyan University in 2013. She was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2016. She is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and Countryside Bible Church.
