Rebeccah Tejada

Providing quality legal services in matters of criminal defense from Tejada Law in Fort Worth, Texas, Rebeccah Tejada has nearly a decade of experience in the legal field. Handling cases of felony and misdemeanor, juvenile defenses, weapon offenses, sex offenses, drug abuse, assault and family violence, DUI/DWI, and expunctions and nondisclosures, she is dedicated to safeguarding her client’s rights.

Graduating from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication, Ms. Tejada proceeded to pursue her law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, she was active in trial advocacy programs that focused on constitutional rights and criminal procedure. After gaining her Juris Doctor in 2016, she was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in the following year. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Beginning her career as an assistant district attorney at the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Tejada later transitioned into criminal defense. Her experience at large defense firms provided her with deep knowledge of the criminal justice system and strong advocacy skills. Her belief that every individual deserves a dedicated defense motivated her to establish her own firm. Her commitment to her clients and passion towards advocacy is shown through her ethical and client-centered approach to every case.

Apart from her practice, Ms. Tejada stays active in the legal community through her memberships with the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDA). These memberships keep her on par with the ongoing trends in her field of practice. Her dedication toward her profession and her clients gained her recognition on the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 editions of Fort Worth Magazine’s Top Attorney list. She was also recognized on the Top 10 Under 40 – Criminal Law list by NACDA.
