Rickey J. Brantley is the founder and principal of his own firm in Fort Worth, Texas. Focusing his practice on civil litigation, he represents companies and individuals in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and throughout northern Texas in matters involving business disputes, investment fraud, oil and gas interests, personal injuries, disability and health insurance claims, and wrongful death. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization has certified Mr. Brantley as an expert in both civil trial law and personal injury trial law.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, Mr. Brantley went on to attend Baylor Law School, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1982. While in law school, he won numerous awards for his advocacy and moot court skills and was honored with membership in the Order of Barristers. Admitted to practice in Texas and Colorado, Mr. Brantley is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, all four federal district courts in Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Highly regarded by his peers even during the early years of his career, Mr. Brantley received the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Texas Award from the Texas Young Lawyers Association in 1992. That recognition continues to this day as exemplified by the AV Preeminent* rating he has been given by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Brantley is a frequent speaker on matters relating to his areas of practices at seminars and symposiums conducted by professional groups, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas. A member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, he has served on the executive committees of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
