Robert E. Haslam, Bob, is the founder of The Haslam Firm that is based in Fort Worth. Focusing his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, he provides representation to clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and the State of Texas.  He has tried cases in more than 15 counties in Texas, and in California, New York, Oklahoma and Missouri.  He has been certified as a specialist in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Haslam is admitted to practice in Texas and Oklahoma and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. His practice also encompasses assisting policyholders whose claims have been delayed or denied in bad faith by their insurance companies.  Mr. Haslam has personanly tried more than 100 cases himself as lead counsel as of November 2018.   Lawyers around the country ask Mr. Haslam to serve as local counsel and second chair many more cases.  Helping people is a privilege.    

Mr. Haslam represents people who have been harmed by the negligence or bad conduct of other parties. The types of cases that he has handled have included truck and other motor vehicle crashes, defective products, premises liability, professional malpractice and oil field deaths. Throughout his career, Mr. Haslam has been able to obtain numerous sizable jury awards and negotiated settlements.  His colleagues have taken note of his successful track record, and they have awarded him an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In addition, Mr. Haslam has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 2012.  The State of Texas Board Certification has asked Mr. Haslam to serve twice for 3 year terms on its annual review committee.

A past president of the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Haslam is a member of several other legal organizations, including the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America and the American Association for Justice. He obtained his legal education at The University of Tulsa College of Law, where he served on the Tulsa Law Review before receiving his Juris Doctor in 1986.  In 1993, Mr. Haslam was awarded the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Tarrant County after his year of serving as President of the organization.  His daughter, Elizabeth Haslam Schultz, recently also served as President of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers and they are the first father -daughter Presdients in Ft. Worth, Texas history.
