W. Travis Patterson is the founder and managing partner of Patterson Law Group, one of the largest plaintiff personal injury firms in North Texas, with ten attorneys across offices in Fort Worth, Arlington, and San Antonio. Under his leadership, the firm secured one of the top 50 reported personal injury settlements in the nation in 2023.

A native of Arlington, Texas, Mr. Patterson earned his B.B.A. in Finance (2009) and J.D. (2012) from The University of Texas at Austin, where he served as president of the Texas Cowboys. He clerked for the Honorable Lawrence E. Meyers at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals before practicing at Haynes and Boone, LLP and Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP. He also served as a visiting prosecutor in the Arlington Municipal Court.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Patterson is a nationally recognized advocate for road safety. As an official speaker for End Distracted Driving (EndDD.org), a national nonprofit, he has delivered presentations to more than 3,000 high school students across Texas — with follow-up surveys showing that 92% of students report they are less likely to drive distracted after his talk. His campaign has been featured on CBS News. He is also the host of Driving Change with Travis Patterson, a podcast exploring the intersection of law, safety, and everyday life, featuring conversations on topics from distracted driving prevention to brain injuries in youth sports, insurance literacy, and consumer protection.

Mr. Patterson serves as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University School of Law, where he and fellow PLG partner Tennessee Walker teach the university’s inaugural personal injury law course. He is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth, and the 2022 Entrepreneur of Excellence honoree from Fort Worth Inc. Magazine.
