S. Benjamin Shabot

Attorney S. Benjamin Shabot is a partner with the Simpson, Beeton & Shabot law firm in Galveston, Texas. Widely regarded as one of the top trial lawyers in his region, Mr. Shabot represents clients throughout Galveston County, League City and the surrounding areas who are dealing with serious personal injury claims, bad faith insurance claims, commercial disputes and other types of civil litigation.

Over the course of his more than 13-year legal career, Mr. Shabot has achieved notable success advocating on behalf of those who have suffered an injury or lost a loved one due to someone else's negligence or wrongdoing as well as those who have complex legal disputes threatening their companies. From his efforts, he has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his plaintiff clients, and he has earned numerous accolades from his peers, including an Outstanding Young Lawyer designation from the Galveston Young Lawyers' Association.

A 2000 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Shabot attended South Texas College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2006. Before entering private practice, he served as a criminal prosecutor with the Galveston County District Attorney's Office, where he gained invaluable trial experience that serves him well to this day. He then worked as an associate at another prominent area law firm for more than seven years before joining Simpson, Beeton & Shabot.

A leader in his legal community, Mr. Shabot once served as president of the Galveston County Young Lawyers' Association, and he is currently an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Committed to supporting his local community as well, he serves on the board of his local Meals on Wheels organization as well as the Child Advocacy Center.
