After earning his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2001, he joined the district attorney's office as an assistant district attorney, where he cut his teeth as a felony prosecutor. This formative chapter placed him shoulder to shoulder with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Texas Rangers, contributing to the resolution of serious felony matters, including a high-profile murder investigation.
As lead trial attorney, Mr. Morales navigated some of the most demanding cases imaginable – murder, sexual assault, narcotics offenses and family violence – gaining a command of the courtroom few attorneys ever achieve. That prosecutorial insight now works in favor of the accused.
