Laura P. Haley

The managing member of Haley Law Firm, PLLC, in Harlingen, Texas. Ms. Haley represents clients in commercial litigation and appellate proceedings in Texas courts. 

Ms. Haley earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English in 1991 and 1994, respectively, from the University of Houston. She graduated from South Texas College of Law, Houston, magna cum laude in 1999. The State Bar of Texas admitted her to practice that same year, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Haley is a member of the Harris County, Cameron County, and Hidalgo County Bar Associations. She served on the boards of directors of the Hidalgo County Bar Association and the Hidalgo County Bar Foundation for two terms, 2019-2021. She is also a member of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the "Green Book" committee, which is responsible for drafting and revising the Texas Pattern Jury Charges - General Negligence, Intentional Personal Torts & Workers' Compensation.
