Alexandria Foster

Alexandria Gwyn Foster serves as an Associate Attorney at the Skillern Firm, Divorce & Child Custody Lawyers, located in Houston, Texas. She concentrates her practice on all matters involving family law, including divorce, custody and visitation, with a particular emphasis on matters involving children. She is passionate about providing sound and knowledgeable counsel to her clients throughout Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.

Mrs. Foster addresses every case with compassion and care because she is aware that a family court conflict is frequently the most traumatic experience her clients will ever go through. She is a fierce defender of her clients' freedoms and rights both inside and outside of court.

With a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish, Mrs. Foster received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2016 from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana. 

Through her commitment to community charities during law school, Mrs. Foster received numerous service awards. She was chosen for the Gillis Long Student Pro Bono Program and worked as an intern with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She then served as a student practitioner at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. Her interest in family law was sparked by her experiences working both here and at CASA.

An enthusiastic participant in the legal community, Mrs. Foster is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Family Law Section and a member of the Houston Bar Association.
