Ali Mokaram

Ali Mokaram is the founder of Mokaram Law Firm in Houston, Texas. With over three decades of experience in handling personal injury lawsuits, he advocates for clients in truck accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, class action litigation and mass tort litigation. He serves clients throughout the Greater Houston metropolitan area. 

After earning his Juris Doctor from the Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1995, Mr. Mokaram was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. His early career included a clerkship at the United States Attorney’s Office, Major Crimes Division, in the Southern District. He spent the following decade practicing alongside some of the most prominent attorneys of the time. Notably, he represented former National Football League players in the highly publicized case against the league alongside Walter Humphrey.

As one of the first lawyers to adopt online sign-ups for his clients, Mr. Mokaram redirected his practice toward a more national scope, focusing on claims such as Multi-District Litigation. Outside of courts, he is an active member of the Houston Bar Association and the American Bar Association, showcasing his commitment to serving justice and advocating for his clients. 

His undying efforts have earned Mr. Mokaram numerous accolades, including recognition in the Best Attorneys of America list by The Best Lawyers in America and Lawyers of Distinction in 2018. He was also named the Lawyer of the Year by the American University of Legal Professionals in 2024. Additionally, he is a member of the National Trial Lawyers: Top 25 Mass Tort Lawyers list.
