Alvin A. Adjei

A founding attorney of The BA Law Firm in Houston, Texas, Alvin A. Adjei serves clients with matters involving criminal defense and personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. Dedicated and persistent, he works round the clock and leaves no stone unturned when seeking an amicable resolution.

Mr. Adjei is an effective communicator and always strives to challenge the prosecution, with his clients as the top priority. He used to work at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and was promoted to Chief of County Criminal Court 6, which gives him the depth of knowledge to reasonably predict the prosecution’s strategy. He was also a co-editor of the 2020 edition of the Harris County Bench Book.

Mr. Adjei graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and government. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame – The Law School in 2012. While in law school, he was awarded the Jon Krupnick award for excellence in the art of Trial Advocacy. He also participated in the National Black Law Students Association Mock Trial competition.

Licensed to practice in Texas since 2013, Mr. Adjei is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas. He holds memberships in the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the National Black Lawyers. Additionally, he was a former board member, treasurer and president-elect of the Houston Young Lawyers Association. He has been rated “Superb” on Avvo for his work in the legal field.
