Andrew A. Woellner

A civil litigation attorney with an aggressive drive to serve his clients, Andrew A. Woellner is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of Texas. A partner at the Potts Law Firm, he oversees the Property Loss Division of the firm and represents his clients in the following matters:

With the firm’s offices spread across the country, Mr. Woellner works out of the headquarters in Houston and serves people in multiple cities and states, including Texas, Houston, New Orleans, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Missouri, Bentonville and LaPlace. 

A graduate of Trinity University, Mr. Woellner graduated with a B.A. degree in political science in 2004. He received his J.D. cum laude from University of Houston Law Center in 2007. During law school, he was a part of the Mock Trial Team, where he actively participated in various competitions and was also named the Top Advocate in one of the national-level competitions. For his utmost commitment and academic excellence, he was inducted into the Order of the Barons, a scholastic honor society. Moreover, he was also an associate editor at the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.

Early in his career, Mr. Woellner interned with the Honorable Adele Hedges at the Texas Fourteenth District Court of Appeals. He later joined one of the most renowned legal firms in Louisiana and worked as an associate attorney for almost seven years. He has successfully represented both giant corporations and individuals alike. 

Mr. Woellner is known for his not sugar-coated, but honest approach to his clients and for assisting them in obtaining an adequate amount of settlement. And for the same, he was rated “Superb” on Avvo and included in the Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers in Texas by The National Trial Lawyers. In 2016, the American Institute of Legal Counsel named him as one of the “10 Best Labor & Employment Attorneys in Texas for Client Satisfaction.” 

In addition to maintaining an active legal practice, Mr. Woellner offers pro bono services to the Houston Bar Association’s Veterans Legal Initiative. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association and the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
