Andy Mouer

Andy Mouer is the founding partner of MouerHuston PLLC, a law firm based in Houston, Texas. Andy focuses his practice on business and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He represents business clients from a diverse range of industries throughout Texas.

Over the course of his 25 years as a lawyer, Mr. Mouer has handled complex matters involving mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; general corporate governance; contracts; entity formation; joint ventures; private equity and venture capital transactions; financings and capital raising; private placements; and many other issues.

During his time in practice, Andy has served clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, oil & gas, banking, drug testing, engineering services, manufacturing, health care, education, information technology, online gaming, real estate, software development, and waste management.

Andy earned a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in Philadelphia. He received his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. He also obtained a master’s degree in public affairs from The University of Texas at Austin Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and a Master of Business Administration degree from Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.

Mr. Mouer was first licensed to practice law in 1995, which qualified him to practice law before all Texas state courts. Prior to founding MouerHuston PLLC, he served as a corporate partner at a national law firm, a senior executive at a Fortune 300 company and a member of the law and business development departments of one of Houston’s oldest companies.
