Anissah Nguyen

Anissah Marie Nguyen is a Managing Partner and an accomplished litigator at Universal Law Group, PLLC. At ULG, Anissah represents clients in a wide variety of civil matters with a focus on complex commercial and business litigation before state and federal courts. Her matters often involve contract disputes, derivative actions, restrictive covenants, trade disputes, shareholder disputes, tort litigation, deceptive practices, and construction litigation. In addition to her commercial and business litigation practice, Anissah serves as lead counsel for a wide variety of family law matters. 

As a results-oriented litigator, Anissah enjoys working with her clients to find successful resolutions to their matters, whether via judgment or negotiated agreement. With her experience in complex litigation, Anissah knows that the path to the optimal outcome is never an obvious one, and she is always focused on her clients’ strategic objectives. At the same time, her diligent and disciplined approach allows her to navigate through the tactical processes necessary to reach those objectives

Anissah has been recognized in the legal community for exhibiting excellence in her legal practice. She was selected by Super Lawyers® to be included in the 2021 and 2022 Rising Star Lists, and she was invited to serve as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, an honor and distinction given to only 1/3 of 1% of attorneys in the state of Texas each year. Anissah is also active in the legal community and her alma mater as a Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and a Member of Texas Exes Alumni Association for the University of Texas at Austin. She is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
