April Ann Strahan is an attorney at The Ammons Law Firm in Houston, Texas. She joined the firm as an associate in 2007 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Michael Keasler on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Texas's highest criminal court.

Among her notable results, Ms. Strahan obtained a judgment of over $50.65 million on behalf of three families affected by the Sutherland Springs church shooting. It was the first verdict in history in which the United States Government was held civilly liable for a mass shooting.

Before law school, Ms. Strahan worked in Boston as an assistant trial director for a jury consulting firm, attending mock trials across the country and managing a focus group facility. She earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 2006, where she served as Managing Editor of the Construction Law Journal and as a member of the South Texas Law Review. Her student comment received the Alumni Association Award for Best Law Review Article. During law school she interned for U.S. District Judge David Hittner, Judge Tim Taft of the First Court of Appeals of Texas, and the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Ms. Strahan was selected for the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2013 through 2019 and named a Texas Super Lawyer in 2020 and 2021. The American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys presented her with its 10 Best Attorneys in Texas award from 2017 through 2019.
