Details

The founder of The Law Office of Daniel D. Horowitz, III PC, Daniel D. Horowitz III focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Based in Houston, he represents people throughout the greater metropolitan area, and he has been certified as a specialist in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Horowitz has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 2002.

In his practice, Mr. Horowitz assists people who have incurred economic and noneconomic losses due to the negligence of other parties. The types of cases that he has handled during his distinguished career have involved defective products, construction site and oilfield accidents, premises liability, pipeline explosions, dog bites, and truck and other motor vehicle accidents. Mr. Horowitz has been able to recover more than $200 million for his clients, through both jury awards and settlements that he has negotiated out of court. These have included a $3.8 million verdict for a construction worker who fell down an elevator shaft as a result of a faulty railing and numerous seven-figure settlements in other types of accidents. His successes have not gone unnoticed by his colleagues, and they have awarded him a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Horowitz attended the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and in 1999, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in management. He then pursued his legal education at South Texas College of Law Houston and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2002. After graduation, Mr. Horowitz spent three years as an insurance defense attorney before moving to the plaintiff's side. He is a past president of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and a member of several other professional organizations.
