Moreover, he also represents both commercial clients as well as individual policyholders with their disputes involving denied and bad faith claims, and other insurance-related disputes.
From his efforts, Mr. Barton has secured numerous substantial settlements and awards for his plaintiff clients. Among his more notable successes, he secured a verdict of nearly $12 million for the victim of a workplace accident, which stands as the largest verdict involving workplace safety awarded in Texas. He also obtained a verdict for an Insurance Policy Holder of more than $2.7 million in a case involving insurance code violations setting a verdict record that year in Texas.
Mr. Barton has earned the distinction of being the only attorney in Texas to obtain #1 verdicts for two consecutive years, as reported by VerdictSearch in different categories. He has also earned numerous honors from his peers, including an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell and a Top 10 designation from the Insurance Bad Faith Trial Lawyers Association.
