    Focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, Denman H. Heard has received extensive press coverage throughout the country for the work that he has done on behalf of people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. Some of the publications have included Bloomberg News, the Los Angeles Times, the Houston Chronicle, the Dallas Morning News and the Austin American-Statesman. Born and raised in Houston, he is the founder of the Heard Law Firm PLLC that is based in his native city.

    During his distinguished career, Mr. Heard has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation for his plaintiff clients through both jury awards and negotiated settlements. His cases have included dangerous consumer products, defective medical devices, construction and other worksite accidents, motor vehicle crashes, toxic exposure, workplace violence, mesothelioma, and job site fires and explosions. Mr. Heard attended Baylor University as an undergraduate and received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1989. His legal education was obtained at the University of Houston Law Center, and in 1992, he was awarded his Juris Doctor. After working for several leading personal injury firms, he formed Heard Law Firm PLLC in 2016.
