Attorney Profile

Attorney Donn C. Fullenweider, one of the premier family law trial lawyers in the United States, founded the firm of Fullenweider Wilhite more than 20 years ago. Since he was admitted to the Texas Bar more than 50 years ago, he has had his skill in his field as a negotiator and trial lawyer recognized by numerous organizations.  Mr. Fullenweider's legal practice has been described in two books about his cases and several national magazines, including "Town & Country," "Harper's Bazaar" and "The National Law Journal." Local magazines, such as "Houston City Magazine" and "Ultra," have also touted his expertise. He is a prolific writer and frequent lecturer on the subjects of family law and trial techniques throughout the United States. He is also a mentor and teacher to other attorneys and has founded several law study groups.

Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the fields of civil trial law and family law, Mr. Fullenweider has held these certifications since their inception. He has been inducted into the Hall of Legends of the State Bar of Texas, and has been recognized by fellow attorneys for his leadership and national standing by being elected president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
