Donna M. Aversano is an attorney and partner at Aversano & Gold in Houston, Texas. A seasoned litigator, Ms. Aversano focuses her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice matters, representing individuals throughout the Houston region.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Aversano went on to acquire her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and was also a candidate at Texas State University for a master’s degree in public administration.
Ms. Aversano has been admitted to practice law in the state of Texas since 1992. Throughout her career, she has represented victims of catastrophes such as automobile accidents, legal malpractice, nursing home negligence, product liability, professional negligence and more.
Before entering the area of personal injury law, Ms. Aversano worked for the state of Texas as an assistant attorney general. In this role, she gained valuable experience representing health care companies in lawsuits involving medical malpractice. In her current practice, she handles matters on both the defense and prosecution sides of personal injury cases.
Outside of her law practice, Ms. Aversano is actively involved in the areas of animal rehabilitation, rescue and welfare, regularly taking on pro bono work involving such matters.
One of the ways Ms. Aversano contributes to the area of animal welfare is through participating in the animal rescue group Scout’s Honor Rescue. She was also instrumental in helping to create the Nancy Perrello Memorial Fund, a fund devoted to saving the lives of stray animals such as dogs and cats in the Houston area.
