Eliud Zavala

Eliud Zavala is the founder of Zavala Law Firm, PLLC, in Houston, Texas. He focuses his practice solely on immigration law and is committed to helping his clients navigate the U.S. immigration system. As an immigrant himself, he understands the difficulties that lie ahead and works hard to give his clients as little stress as the situation permits. He is well-versed in both English and Spanish.

With nearly a decade of experience practicing law, Mr. Zavala is deeply knowledgeable about the immigration system in the United States. Having worked as an associate attorney at the largest minority-owned and preeminent global immigration law firm in the country, he understands the strategies that need to be implemented in certain situations. He is board-certified in immigration and nationality law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

After graduating from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting, Mr. Zavala attended the South Texas College of Law Houston and received his Juris Doctor in 2013. During his time in law school, he was part of the Immigration/Human Trafficking Clinic, where he represented victims of human trafficking and other less fortunate individuals.

Mr. Zavala holds memberships in the State Bar of Texas, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has been a panelist in AILA’s Texas Chapter and has also appeared on local news television to discuss immigration-related issues.

Mr. Zavala is licensed to practice in both New York and Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
