Over the course of his career, Mr. Cassidy has been involved in many significant cases and served as a speaker or panelist at various conferences and seminars. He has served in professional leadership positions and is a fellow in The Coco Foundation, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Bar Foundation.

Mr. Cassidy is a member of the Houston Bar Association and served as chair of the association’s oil, gas and mineral law section in 2017 and chair of the international law section in previous years. He also served as council of the international law section of the State Bar of Texas. He remains an active member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, the Energy Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, Mr. Cassidy received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Warwick in England. He obtained his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
