Jaclyn D. Patton

An adept attorney practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, Jaclyn D. Patton is the founder of The Patton Law Firm, PLLC, in Houston, Texas, and serves clients in the surrounding areas as well. With a decade of experience, she is well-versed to handle any legal matter, no matter how simple or complex. 

A 2010 dual-degree graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. degree in international business as well as a B.A. degree in history and a minor in German, Ms. Patton attended South Texas College of Law Houston and received her Juris Doctor in 2012. Licensed to practice a few months later, she also received certification to serve as ad litem for guardianship and probate proceedings by the State Bar of Texas.

During her time in law school, Ms. Patton’s article on the exploitation tactics used by for-profit educational institutions on military servicemen and women won her the David Mizgala Award for Outstanding Legal Writing by the South Texas Law Review. Before starting her law practice, she interned at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas as well as the Harris County Probate Court Three, allowing her to gain meaningful experience in legal advocacy, probate and estate administration.
