While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she served as a summer intern at the Bexar County Justice Center in their Family Violence Division. While working there, she gained experience in preparing witnesses, police officers, and victims of violence for trial, which fueled her desire and aspirations to pursue a career in law. Following this, she enrolled in the Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2010 to pursue her law studies.
As a law student, Ms. Schneider worked as a student attorney at the Harris County Attorney’s Office, where she gained a closer perspective on legal proceedings. Upon graduating law school, she formally joined the Harris County Attorney’s Office as an Assistant County Attorney, where she took to family law with a special focus on child welfare, custody disputes. and child abuse cases.
A committed and resolute attorney, Ms. Schneider has spent over twelve years in the field of legal practice as a litigator and trial attorney. She has worked with multiple law firms in the Houston area handling a variety of cases across the family law spectrum. Pursuing her passion, she has represented individuals and families in numerous contested trials, mediations, and hearings.
