Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Ms. Rodriguez-Wahlquist majored in economics and political science and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Sam Houston State University in 2015. Excelling academically, she was a recipient of several prestigious scholarships and a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon The International Economics Honor Society. 

In 2018, Ms. Rodriguez-Wahlquist obtained her doctorate in law from DePaul University. While there, she was placed on the dean’s list and awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in contracts negotiation and drafting. She was a finalist in the DePaul Moot Court Society Intramural Competition and functioned as a staff writer of the Business and Commercial Law Journal. She was also a visiting law student at the South Texas College of Law Houston.

Licensed to practice in Texas since 2018, Ms. Rodriguez-Wahlquist has handled a number of cases before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas as well. 

Ms. Rodriguez-Wahlquist was honored in many ways for her accomplishments, high-quality services and professionalism. She was listed in the Top 40 Under 40 attorneys list by The National Trial Lawyers and awarded the 2021 Gayest & Greatest Readers' Choice Award by Outsmart. She is fluent in English and Spanish. 

Ms. Rodriguez-Wahlquist holds memberships in many legal organizations, including the Texas Bar Foundation, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Houston Bar Foundation, the American Association for Justice and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
