A native of Houston, Ms. Jenkins graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1972. After working for years in business and politics, she returned to school and obtained her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 1982. That same year, the State Bar of Texas admitted her to practice, and Ms. Jenkins remains active in many professional legal organizations, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the family law sections for several local, regional and national bar associations.

An accomplished author and speaker, Ms. Jenkins has published numerous articles and conducted a host of seminars on topics related to family and matrimonial law. She routinely volunteers throughout her community, and she has received many awards and honors for her high ethical standards and exceptional customer service.
