John Brothers passionately and tirelessly works to see his medical malpractice and personal injury clients through one of the most difficult times in their lives. As the founder of The Brothers Law Firm in Houston, Texas, he serves the residents of Texas and nationwide primarily in medical malpractice and personal injury matters.
With 15 years of experience, Mr. Brothers started the arduous road to becoming one of the premier personal injury attorneys in Texas during his time at the University of Houston Law Center, where he was able to hone his shrewd legal acumen in many activities, including serving as the articles editor of the Houston Journal Health Law and Policy. He received his Juris Doctor in 2008, and in the same year, his license to practice in Texas.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Brothers completed his undergraduate studies at The Citadel in 2005, graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government. During his time there, he developed important management and leadership skills while a part of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, and while serving as squad sergeant of Echo Company. In addition, he was also awarded the 2005 James K. Coleman Award for academic achievement as the political science graduate with the highest G.P.A.
Mr. Brothers gained considerable exposure in the field as a law clerk for a reputable law firm, before being recruited to joint what became one of the largest medical malpractice firms for patients in their families in Texas. In 2018, he started the Brothers Law Firm so that he could work directly with his clients in pursuit of the justice they deserved. In addition to being licensed Texas, he is also licensed to practice in Arizona and Ohio, and for his tireless efforts, he has been acknowledged by a number of prestigious legal organizations, including:
