John W. Stevenson Jr. is the founding partner of Stevenson & Murray in Houston, Texas, where he concentrates his practice on personal injury, maritime and complex civil litigation. A native of Texas, Mr. Stevenson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Trinity University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, he excelled in advocacy, winning multiple moot court and mock trial competitions and being named to the distinguished Order of the Barristers. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
