Jonny Havens

A founding member of Havens & Associates PLLC, based in Houston, Texas, Jonny Havens provides legal representation to clients across a broad range of personal injury and business litigation matters. His practice focuses on advocating for individuals and families affected by serious accidents, including car and truck accidents, workplace and construction injuries, maritime and offshore incidents, oilfield and industrial accidents, explosion and burn injuries, premises liability claims and wrongful death cases.

With a background rooted in service and discipline, Mr. Havens brings a results-driven approach to his legal practice. He is committed to helping clients face tough legal challenges while pursuing the compensation clients deserve through negotiation or litigation. He also handles select business litigation matters.

Mr. Havens earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Texas A&M University in 2005. After graduation, he served five years on active duty in the United States Army as an infantry officer. During his military service, he earned the prestigious Ranger Tab and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal twice for his service in Iraq. He also received the Combat Infantryman Badge and other honors recognizing his leadership and dedication.

After serving in the military, Mr. Havens pursued his legal education at Duke University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2013. He is admitted to practice law in all Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He remains active in professional and community organizations, including leadership roles with Combined Arms and the Houston Bar Association. He also serves as a judge advocate general officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and is involved in local ministry work.
