· Cause No. 825,594; In the County Court at Law No. 2 of Harris County, Texas; Americon Services Company, Inc. v. Arco Construction Company, Inc. Represented subcontractor against general contractor involving claims of breach of contract, quantum meruit, violation of the prompt payment statute and misapplication of trust fund statute. Jury findings in client’s favor on all claims for affirmative relief. Successfully defended against all counterclaims. Judgment entered for client in the amount of $167,117.44 for actual damages, pre-judgment interest at 18%, and attorneys fees.
· Cause No. 98-07260; In the 280th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas; Harris v. Chang. Represented consumer in dispute arising out of the purchase of a flower shop. Judgment entered for client in the amount of $36,139.00 for actual damages and attorneys fees, $6700.00 for knowingly damages. Take nothing judgment entered on the defendant’s counterclaims. Successfully defended and collected judgment on appeal.
