Kent M. Hanszen

Kent Hanszen focuses his practice on real estate and business litigation and transactions. Mr. Hanszen is triple Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Commercial Real Estate Law, and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  He also enjoys an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo.

Mr. Hanszen's practice includes litigating complex business disputes, litigating title issues, handling business and real estate transactions, and preparation of loan and real estate documents. He also has extensive experience in cases involving trade secrets misappropriation, noncompete agreement violations, and oil and gas matters.

Mr. Hanszen is admitted to practice before all Texas courts; before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas; and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He received a bachelor of business administration from Texas A&M University in 1988, and he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 1992. Mr. Hanszen has also been trained as a mediator by the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center, part of his law school alma mater.
