Attorney Lynn Kamin is a partner with the Jenkins & Kamin LLP law firm in Houston, Texas. Focusing exclusively on family law, Ms. Kamin provides the compassionate counsel and personalized representation her clients need when dealing with issues related to divorce, child custody and support, property division, and other related areas, as well as child sexual abuse and children with special needs.

Widely regarded as one of the top family law attorneys in the region, Ms. Kamin holds certification as a family law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is active with several local, state and national bar associations, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the family law section of the Houston Bar Association, where she has held a number of leadership roles and continues to contribute to the organization's Family/Probate Bench Bar Conference, the John J. A Houston native, Ms. Kamin was an educator before transitioning into law. She graduated from The University of Arizona in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and English and a minor in education, and she holds a master's degree in secondary education and psychology from San Francisco State University. In 1988, Ms. Kamin obtained her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston and received her license to practice from the State Bar of Texas that same year.

Fully committed to her community as well as her practice, Ms. Kamin volunteers for a number of local and regional service organizations. She is the former director of the board for the Child Abuse Task Force, and helped develop and organize The Children's Assessment Center.

Using her extensive knowledge of family law, Ms. Kamin routinely offers commentary for various news outlets and conducts continuing legal education seminars throughout Texas.
