- I was lead counsel in a MVA case taken to trial where my client had been rear-ended by a construction work truck. At mediation Defense counsel never offered more than $75,000.00. Past medical bills amounted to $201K. I did opening statement, direct examination of experts, cross examination of defendant's experts, and direct examination of a witness. After one week of trying the case in Angelina County, the jury awarded a verdict in the amount of $1,909,000.76. Case was never appealed, verdict was paid. , 2018

I tried this case in Angelina County and the jury awarded $45,869.34 in past medical, $209,000 in future medical, $25,000 in past pain and suffering, $200,000 in future pain and suffering, $25,000 in past impairment, and $150,000 in future impairment.
