Marie Harlan

Taking on clients from all across Texas, attorney Marie Harlan seeks to find resolution to cases related to eminent domain and condemnation. Working at McFarland PLLC in Houston, Texas, she has been licensed to practice law since 2014. She caters to the needs of her clients in maximizing recoveries and protecting their rights on the verge of a governmental acquisition of private property. Having secured a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in history/plan II in 2005 from The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Harlan proceeded to get her Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2014. While in law school, she was awarded the Dean’s Achievement Award for outstanding student in evidence. During this period, she also used the time to polish her skills by interning for the Honorable Judges Marina Garcia Marmolejo and Sam Sparks at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. She also clerked at the Antitrust Section of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the city of Austin and more.
