An involved member of the legal community, Ms. Conn has served as director of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA) and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. She was also President of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. She is part of the State Bar of Texas, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, the National Criminal Defense College and the National College for DUI Defense.

A recipient of the TCDLA’s Presidential Award for her outstanding service in continuing legal education, Ms. Conn has been recognized with a 10 out of 10 rating by Avvo and an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell. She also has received the NACDL’s Presidential Award a couple of times and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association’s Outstanding Service as President award. She has led classes and seminars on a variety of legal topics and is the editor of the treatise on DUI defense published by the NACDL.
