Matt Henneman is the founding partner of Henneman Rau LLP and has over two decades of experience representing clients throughout the United States in the securities and banking industry. This includes matters related to customer disputes, regulatory compliance, business transition, unfair competition and business raiding. He is also well-versed in matters of employment law such as discrimination, wrongful termination, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

After graduating from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature, Mr. Henneman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994. He has been regularly honored by Houstonia Magazine for his work in securities law, employment law and business law. A Fellow of the Houston Bar Association, he is also a board member of the securities and arbitration section of the Houston Bar Association and a member of the labor and employment section. Within the State Bar of Texas, he is involved with the litigation section.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Texas. Mr. Henneman is also admitted before a number of federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Colorado, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

An experienced trial lawyer, he is a former chief prosecutor who spent years in civil jury trials and arbitrations. Mr. Henneman is also actively involved with a long list of charitable organizations in his community.
