Before pursuing a law degree, Ms. Clark graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in radio, television and film. She proceeded to earn her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2010. While in law school, she was an active participant at the Children’s Rights Clinic and the Criminal Defense Clinic. She was also a state bar representative of the Student Bar Association. In 2011, she gained her license to practice law in Texas and was further admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and the Supreme Court of Texas.
Ms. Clark worked as an assistant to producers for films before pursuing her law degree. She served as an intern to Hon. Jane Bland at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. She also gained early experience in document preparation while interning at Texas CASA, where she was responsible for preparing legislative updates for attorneys. She practiced in commercial litigation at national and international firms before transitioning to her family law practice.
Within her legal community, Ms. Clark is an active part of various legal organizations, including the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. She also serves as a barrister at the Garland Walker American Inns of Court. Additionally, she is a fellow at the Texas Bar Foundation. She is also actively involved in community service programs, providing pro bono legal services at the Houston Volunteer Lawyers program.
