Michael A. Caddell is a senior partner at Caddell & Chapman in Houston, Texas. With more than 40 years of experience in legal practice, Mr. Caddell represents clients in Houston and on a nationwide basis in class actions and mass tort litigation, business litigation and intellectual property litigation. 

Over the decades of his distinguished career, Mr. Caddell has represented clients including major corporations in matters involving franchises, insurance, product liability, toxic torts, trade secrets and commercial disputes, recovering major amounts through settlements and verdicts. He is certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. 

In honor of his professional accomplishments, H Texas magazine has included Mr. Caddell on its list of top attorneys during many different years. In 1999, Texas Lawyer Magazine named him “Texas Lawyer of the Year,” and in 2007, Lawdragon magazine included him on its “500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers.” Additionally, The National Trial Lawyers has included him on its “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” list every year since 2011. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. Caddell is active in many professional organizations. After graduating with distinction from the University of Virginia, Mr. Caddell earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He holds a license to practice law before all Texas and California state courts, several federal and appellate courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
