Ms. Armour was a key member of the firm's talcum powder litigation team that won a multi-billion dollar jury verdict against Johnson & Johnson in 2018. She was also a member of the firm's appellate team that jointly briefed the matter before the court of appeals in 2019. In 2020, the Missouri Supreme Court declined to hear the defendants' appeal, preserving the $2.1 billion judgment.
Ms. Armour has briefed appellate matters before the Texas Supreme Court, Texas Courts of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, Eighth Circuit, and Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is licensed to practice law in Texas. She is also a member of the Appellate Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
Ms. Armour is a native Texan who was born and raised in Dallas. She graduated cum laude from Baylor University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and cum laude from Texas Tech School of Law in 2009. After law school, Ms. Armour clerked for Justice Kent C. Sullivan at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, she worked as an associate at two Houston defense firms, where she focused primarily on property-related insurance litigation.
