I am one of three Shareholders at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C.  I started with the firm as a law clerk in 1994 and was told it was only a clerkship with no opportunity for advancement.  My career is proof that if you just get your foot in the door, you never know what might happen.

At our law firm, our passion is speaking up for the injured.  All we do is help injury victims recover from those that negligently cause their harm. I have never represented an insurance company in my 25+ years of practice. I fight for people, not corporations.

With regards to awards and achievements, I became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in Texas in 2005.  Since that time in addition to being named a Super Lawyer, I have been named a 'Top 100 Trial Lawyer" by the National Trial Lawyers from 2017 to the present.  Many lawyers get named to these lists. But, one of the more unique awards that I am proud of is being given the Outstanding Mentor Award in 2019 by the Houston Young Lawyers Association.  This is an award that goes to one person each year for helping others to achieve their goals. I have also taught other lawyers as a faculty lecturer in the field of dog bite law for three separate continuing legal education (CLE) courses and in the field of car accident litigation in another CLE course.
