Paul Hilmon Cannon

I am the Managing Partner of Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., a Houston personal injury law firm representing injury victims since 1979.

I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a designation held by fewer than 3% of Texas attorneys. I have practiced personal injury trial law since 1995 and have tried more than 50 cases to verdict.

I have been named a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters every year from 2017 through 2026 and a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association every year from 2017 through 2026.

My practice focuses on truck accidents, 18-wheeler litigation, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, and dog bite cases throughout Houston, Katy, Cypress, Memorial, Sugar Land, and across Texas. 

I have taught continuing legal education courses to attorneys nationwide on dog bite litigation, car accident law, and trucking litigation through LawPracticeCLE and MyLawCLE.

I serve on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Christianity in Business at Houston Christian University, the Board of Advisors for Katy Cares, Inc., and the Leadership Advisory Board of the Texas Christian Chamber of Commerce. 

I host the Meet Houston Missions vlog and the Simmons and Fletcher Local Missions Podcast, both of which spotlight Houston-area mission organizations at no charge. My family and I attend Fairfield Baptist Church in Cypress.
