Paul Turkevich focuses on commercial litigation and has experience representing businesses and individuals in trade secret, breach of contract, employment, and environmental cases. He represents both defendants and plaintiffs in state and federal courts and arbitration panels across the country in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit, discovery, summary judgment, trial, and appeals.
He was named on the 2021 and 2022 Texas Rising Stars lists for his excellence in business litigation. Rising Stars, which is compiled by Thomson Reuters’ Texas Super Lawyers, honoring leading attorneys aged 40 and younger and those who have been in practice no more than 10 years.
Before joining AZA, he served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Dena Hanovice Palermo of the United States District for the Southern District of Texas.
He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and was a student-attorney in the Criminal Defense & Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. Before law school, he was a staff investigator for five years with the nation’s premier public defender office in Washington, D.C, where he conducted hundreds of witness interviews and helped prepare for dozens of jury trials in murder, sexual assault, and robbery cases.
