Richard D. Weaver

Richard Weaver is a Board Certified attorney, certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has a focus on real estate law and complex business litigation, holding two board certifications: commercial real estate law and residential real estate law. He has been engaged as an expert by the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Businesses and families rely on him. Other Texas attorneys choose Mr. Weaver as their lawyer. Mr. Weaver earned a bachelor’s degree in English and professional writing from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He went on to graduate from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he earned many honors and awards.

Mr. Weaver is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Over the course of his years in practice, he has authored various articles for publications, including FinancialContent, Houston Commerce magazine and USA Politics Today.

He is actively involved in his professional and legal communities.

Mr. Weaver has also been involved in organization including the economic development committee of the Galleria Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a member of the board of trustees for the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation, a member and assistant deacon of Second Baptist Church and a member of the advisory committee of the Second Baptist Church’s Family Life Center.
