Sam E. Taylor II is Senior Litigation Counsel at The Lanier Law Firm, focusing on personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury litigation. With more than 30 years of trial experience, he is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Taylor has tried more than 50 civil jury cases, including over 40 personal injury trials as lead counsel involving asbestos-related mesothelioma, wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, and other serious injuries. His work includes representing six families who lost their daughters in the Camp Mystic flooding in Texas, as well as the widow of a pilot killed in the UPS cargo plane crash. His experience also extends to commercial vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and industrial accidents.

While attending undergraduate school at Tarleton State University, Mr. Taylor obtained invaluable experience in government when he dedicated a semester to working full time as an administrative assistant to Senator Bob Glasgow in the Texas Senate during the 69th Texas Legislative Session.
