"You have a legal right and a responsibiliy to yuor family and loved ones, to pursue those who do you, your family or loved ones financial harm and damage. Loosing wages, physical abilites and mental faculties from trauma is a burden which an American Citizen should not be forced to endure, without legal recourse. Unfortuntately, the stigma placed on the pursuit of valid legal rights of injured workers and families has become the norm. Hard working families and injury victims are not requied to give their physical and financial abilities over to insure corporate and insurance industry profits. A defendants' Insurance adjuster and corporate claims handlers owe you no duty to see that you are properly informed of your rights, nor the inclination to do so.   Don't let the mis-information and misperceptions they so commonly provide, while owing you no legal duty for basic truth or candor, cause you to become a victim twice. Contact a lawyer to learn about the law and your rights to fair compensation, under the lawy, before committing to give a recorded statement or sign statements, which may permanantly limit your ability to pursue your valid claims. The insurance industry is one of the most profitable in the history of mankind. Juries are most often never permitted to know whether a defendant has insurance and are permitted to operate under a veil of secrecy, only intending often to undo the tenants of justice our nation was founded upon. Their role in assisting judges and legislators in getting elected and lobbying to reduce your rights is their main focus. Don't be fooled into believing what they say, without checking with a lawyer."      Scott H. McLemore   (713) 888-0080

  • Outcome: Verdict for Plaintiff & Intervenor for $11.4mm & $381.5mm Description: The Shelby County jury sided with the plaintiffs, who claimed that SouthWestern Energy Production Co. (SEPCO) stole their trade secrets and profited from them. The jury awarded the plaintiffs $11.4 million in compensatory damages, finding that SEPCO had violated the Texas Theft Liability Act by misappropriating trade secrets and had committed fraud related to a confidentiality agreement in 2005 pertaining to two oil and gas prospects in East Texas. In addition, the jury found that, for purposes of disgorgement, SEPCO’s profits were $381.5 million, which the court may or may not order SEPCO to pay to the plaintiffs as part of any judgment.
