Shane A. McClelland is a founding partner at Herbert McClelland, LLP.

Shane represents individuals in personal injury accident cases and commercial litigation with aggression and integrity. Shane also takes on the big insurance companies who refuse to pay their insureds after they have suffered a loss or damages because of a hurricane, storm, or other natural disaster. Shane also handles premises liability cases, business and contract disputes, and helps employees who have not been paid all the overtime wages they have earned.

Shane's primary focus is obtaining the best possible result for each client he represents. Shane has successfully utilized his litigation skills in both state and Federal Courts throughout the country to protect the rights of individuals who have been injured.

Shane is admitted to several state and Federal courts. He is admitted to practice in all Texas state and federal courts and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice law in Colorado and Nebraska.

Shane’s foundation of legal experience and education has led to many recognitions and accolades. Shane also dedicates his time to his family and volunteers for and gives to the American Diabetes Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, YoungLife, Carrie's Heart, and CHARM Ministries. 

Shane received a degree in history from The University of Texas at Austin. Shane earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law. During law school he was a law review editor. Shane also interned for a Texas Court of Appeals Justice and served as a summer associate for the Texas Attorney General. After law school, Shane clerked for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
